Ashley Stark is co-owner of We Grow Hair Indy and Transitions of Indiana, an Indianapolis-based hair restoration and replacement clinic. She knows and thinks a lot about hair, so it’s no surprise that her new company is hair-related. She’s launched Peri Hair, an affordable, premium hair care product that focuses on both scalp and hair care. By creating a natural product focused on a more holistic approach (other products focus on either hair or scalp), she’s meeting a need she saw at We Grow Hair Indy. Peri Hair is an example of adjacent entrepreneurship. A recent McKinsey study shows that CEOs who pursue adjacent and breakout businesses that build on a competitive advantage deliver significantly higher shareholder returns than their peers.  Ashley is available to speak about her adjacent entrepreneurship journey and why it might be a successful tactic for other business owners. Having closely collaborated with trichologists and stylists on her team, she made it her mission to master the complexities surrounding hair and scalp health.
